Our Work
Malteser International’s programs are rooted in our Christian values and humanitarian principles, seeking to reach as many people as possible, regardless of their religion, gender, background, or political convictions. In coordination with the Order of Malta and its activity in over 120 countries around the world, we provide assistance to a broad range of projects, focusing on forgotten crises affecting the most vulnerable.
In the Americas, we focus on providing long-term assistance to strengthen water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), food security, child and maternal health, social cohesion, and environmental resiliency. With country offices in Colombia and Haiti, we also provide emergency relief to refugee crises, natural disasters, and other events requiring immediate responses, as they occur.
