Despite being victims of the hurricane themselves, members of the Order of Malta U.S. Associations have been in the region providing first response to affected people in an honorary capacity, and will join Malteser International to coordinate next steps for a rapid aid, specifically needed by the most vulnerable in devastated areas. The experts will ensure that the most vulnerable social groups are supported.
