Marlene lives with her husband and their 6 children in Belle-Anse, in the southern part of Haiti. After Hurricane Matthew hit the island, she lost all her fishing equipment and she couldn't take care of her family. We offered her relief and assistance, and gave her fishing material to weave new fishing traps. Now she is on the sea again, earning a living, and keeping her family healthy.
